Aquesta experiència m'ha permès estudiar la relació simbòlica entre la vida i l'obra de Walter Benjamin i el lloc on va morir, Portbou.
El simbolisme d'aquesta relació va, molt més enllà, d'una simple casualitat. La geografia d'aquest paisatge manté una relació viva amb l'obra de Benjamin. Visitar aquesta frontera és submergir-se en la història, en la contemplació inquietant d'una veritat pertorbadora, que ens confronta inexorablement amb el dolor del món.
